Music in the Park - Noah John & Ringing Iron

Music in the Park is back! The Friends is pleased to welcome Noah John & Ringing Iron back to play some wonderful tunes.

What kind of music do they play? Here’s a little bit about their sound from the band’s website:

Noah John and Ringing Iron is a band based out of Central Wisconsin. Noah John is a Wisconsin native and current resident with 10+ years of on stage experience starting at the age of 15 and work on 7 albums including a Nashville recording contract.  Noah John's songwriting,  guitar, vocals and innovative arrangements is the backbone of the band creating a genre-bending style combining Outlaw Country, Jam Band enthusiasm and Bluegrass into an artfully American experience. We sing and play the Soul of Country.

Join us at the ice cream concessions area near The Chateau on the North Shore for a Sunday evening that will make for a delightfully fun time. Look forward to seeing you!

Music in the Park - The Swing Crew

SwingCrew.jpeg

Music in the Park is back! The Friends is pleased to welcome The Swing Crew back to play some wonderful tunes. What kind of music do they play? Here’s a little bit about their sound from the band’s website:

Fun is the bottom line with this interactive, acoustic band. The shows feature a wide variety of music, audience participation, jokes, stunts, cornball humor and toasts. Their winter home is in Summit County Colorado. Summers they're all over the midwest, with Wisconsin Dells as their home base. Join the fun, join the show and you could be the recipient of The Swing Crew bumper sticker.

The Swing Crew performs a wide variety of music. They play classic rock, country, pop, swing, "island beat" and about any other genre you could possibly come up with. They play whatever gets the crowd going. So if you want to hear something in particular just ask them, they most likely know it. The best thing about going to see The Swing Crew perform is that it's not like seeing your average "bar band", the quality of the music and the crazyness of their antics will keep you entertained throughout the show. The bottom line is FUN. The Swing Crew plays mainly in two locations; Wisconsin in the summer, and Colorado in the Winter. Between Wisconsin and Colorado they tour around mostly in the midwest.

Join us at the ice cream concessions area near The Chateau on the North Shore for a Sunday evening that will make for a delightfully fun time. Look forward to seeing you!

Music in the Park - Dan Walkner & Friends

wrenclaw_15.jpeg

Music in the Park is back! The Friends is pleased to welcome Dan Walkner & Friends to play some wonderful tunes. What kind of music do they play? Here’s a little bit about their sound from the band’s website:

Wrenclaw is a Wisconsin original. Blending country harmonies and slithery slide guitars, they create a down-home, backwoods soul shakedown. Wrenclaw captures the longing and redemption of one-horse towns and whistle-stop childhood memories. Dan Walkner’s voice shimmers and growls; his timeless guitar slides and slurs with bottleneck flourishes. Wrenclaw digs deep in gospel, delta, and back-country roots to create captivating moods. The song-writing is emotive yet never sentimental; honest and universal, but never cliche. Wrenclaw’s self-titled debut was released in early 2014.

To hear their music, listen to this 2015 set they recorded with Wisconsin Public Television.

Join us at the ice cream concessions area near The Chateau on the North Shore for a Sunday evening that will make for a delightfully fun time. Look forward to seeing you!\
