“Honeybee” Hits the Road
Our Friends Board of Directors members love the outdoors - that’s part of why they’re drawn to giving back to Devil’s Lake State Park! One of our board members is off on a special adventure. Claire Aither Donachie, also known as “Honeybee” on thru-hikes, is on a mission to thru-hike the Ice Age Trail this fall. She started on August 23. The Ice Age Trail is the ONLY National Scenic Trail that wholly falls within one state. Claire has thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, the Pacific-Crest Trail, and several others, and now she’s tackling the home trail! Follow her on her journey through these sites:
