The fire ring is site of our Halloween and torchlit hike bonfires!
Our popular fire ring at the Rock Elm Shelter sees heavy use! Installed in 2020, the fire ring is in need of TLC. Working with the family of Dr. Timothy Schuebel, DDS, we’re purchasing and replacing this fire ring. The family has funded most of the cost, but additional costs remain due to rising tariffs. To date, about $1,200 has been funded for this project.
The Friends removed the old fire ring and upgraded it with the new kit. This was completed on October 8.
Cost: ~$2,300
