Elliott Funmaker, Sr. (Ho-Chunk) and his group will provide a family-friendly cultural performance featuring the music and dance of the Ho-Chunk Nation. Elliott will explain the symbolism and meaning of the drum and regalia worn by each dancer. Join us for a FREE event that embraces the arts and culture of Tee Wakącąk and the Ho-Chunk people.
Meet behind Rock Elm Shelter, on the park’s North Shore, near the boat launch. Your own blanket and/or chairs are encouraged!
This event is free but vehicle admission to the state park is required. This event is made by possible by an Incentive Grant from the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks.
