State Park Passes at the Baraboo Library!
In partnership with the Friends of the Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Library in Baraboo, 80 passes for day visits to the Wisconsin State Park System are available for anyone with a library card to check out! The day passes are good for one vehicle admission to any state park, forest, or recreation area where vehicle admission is required. We are excited to support the Baraboo library and to make it easier for more households to visit our state parks. Check Out Wisconsin State Parks at Your Library!

Welcome, new board members!
The Friends of Devil’s Lake Board of Directors is full! This winter, we welcomed two new board members, Jeff Sederstrom of Baraboo and Claire Aither of Green Lake. Both bring loads of enthusiasm and passion for engaging with the park and the Friends. Read more here.
Meet our Executive Director!
In July 2024, the Friends hired our first Executive Director, Jessica (Jessa) Tripalin. Meet Jessa:
My professional, personal, and volunteer time has been dedicated to connecting people with nature and here I go again, creating space and connections to do such a thing for OUR community. In the past, I have worked alongside volunteers and staff within Dane County Parks, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation at Taliesin, and with many private landowners to create goals for land stewardship and organization. It was only natural for me to show up here to give what I do best, create connections for community within our natural environments.
My goal is to establish concrete communication and forward thinking to help the Friends of Devil’s Lake State Park be in the forefront of conversation in our local communities. This means finding ways to get our members, volunteers, sponsors, and donors to feel like we are all gaining strength in providing and promoting stewardship for the park! This will come in many avenues for all to be able to donate in their own particular way.
Please reach out to me at any time to provide feedback or ideas on how you can help us move forward with our support for the park.
